Payment and Insurance
Payment is due at the time of service unless previously arranged. I am an in-network provider for the following insurance companies:
I will file your insurance and will file both for in-network and out-of-network claims. Some insurance companies, such as Cigna, will cover out-of-network providers after the deductible is met. Before your first session please call your insurance company and ask for the following information to bring with you, along with a copy of your insurance card:
24 Hour Cancellation Policy
As we all know, unexpected things come up in life. If you need to cancel or change your appointment, please call me at least 24 hours before your appointment time, otherwise you will be charged the full fee for your appointment. Insurance will not cover missed appointments. Cancellations must be made via phone or voice mail - please do not text or email your cancellation.

- BCBSNC State (State employees)
- Medcost (UNC student insurance)
- United Behavioral Health (North Carolina)
- Some United Health Care plans - please call and verify that I am a provider
- Aetna

- Do you need pre-authorization for mental health services?
- What is your deductible amount before benefits will be paid?
- How many sessions are you allowed per year and when does your year begin?
(plans can be on a regular calendar year, on a fiscal calendar year, or something different) - What is your co-pay amount?
